The Tournament
The Galiano Classic was inaugurated in 2013 by Stuart Macdonald, Maclean Stewart and Amritpal Brar. ‘The Fathers,’ as they have come to be known, have grown the tournament as an invitational, welcoming gentlemen that have displayed integrity, loyalty and of course, respect and appreciation for the traditions of golf.
The Fathers
The 1st Annual Galiano Classic was attended by the original members, or The Fathers as they have fondly come to be known. Stuart Macdonald, Maclean Stewart and Amritpal Brar are the founders of this almost decade long tradition. The Fathers have upheld the honour and integrity that comes with the game of golf and have instilled these values into the Galiano Classic.
Embracing diversity, The Fathers have created a tournament that is not only a competition, but a once a year event where brothers unite and bond, friends challenge one another, and foes share laughs, all while celebrating their love of the game of golf.
